If you would prefer to have a drink such as soda, remember that it is most likely high in sugar. Plan to rinse your mouth with water after you finish your soda. GumChewing a piece of gum has several benefits for your oral health. It will get rid of food that you have yet to brush away. It will produce saliva. It will also help with bad breath. Make sure that the gum that you chew is sugarless. While brushing after you eat is desirable, it is not always possible. These things can help.
